Convent Cake

Ingredientes :

  • 350 g flour
  • 300 g sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 2.5dl of milk
  • 1 glass of brandy
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • brown sugar and cinnamon

Modo de Preparo:

  1. Beat the butter and sugar well and add the eggs, one by one, without stopping beating.
  2. Pour in the milk and brandy in a thin stream, stirring constantly, and then gradually add the sifted flour with the yeast, beating until bubbles form.
  3. Bake in a greased and floured pan in a medium oven at 180ºC.
  4. Unmold and let cool. When cool, rub the cake with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Serve.
